Join us as the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) hosts a regional meeting of the American Veterinary Medical History Society (AVMHS) in celebration of the sesquicentennial of OVC, the oldest continually operating veterinary school in Canada and the U.S. The program has been planned in conjunction with Zbigniew and Helen Wojcinski, long term members of the AVMHS, who will chair the meeting. The theme will be Cross- Border Connections in Canadian and U.S. History, and papers will be presented by Brian Derbyshire, Terry Crowley, Dean Percy, John Prescott, Philip Teigen, Elizabeth Stone, Lisa Cox and Ian Barker. The meeting will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the OVC in Guelph. The meeting is open to anyone who wishes to attend, including University of Guelph faculty staff, students and alumni, although registration is required.
